With a [probable] non-local summer internship on the horizon, putting down a security deposit in the near future and paying bills, Confessions of a Shopaholic has inspired me to try to get my finances in order. This mean, no more frivolous spending. It'll be hard, but I think I can do it. I mean, I went to the mall today and left empty handed. That almost never happens.

As sad as it was taking my scissors to my credit card, it felt goooood. I'm debating on cutting up the other one ... Should I keep it for emergencies or sever the ties?

Way to go! I'd definitely keep at least one for emergencies though, you never know what will happen! As long as a new wardrobe doesn't count as an emergency :]
