Seller Spotlight: CONTEST | The Fashion Dungjen

Debra Dale, creative wonder woman behind Maille Mystique on Etsy.com, was super sweet to donate an incredibly beautiful and intricate bracelet for one lucky reader! If you've been keeping up with the other contests, you know what's coming, if not, here's the deal:

Answer the question below in a comment on this particular entry. On Saturday, Dec. 7, I will announce the winner. (The deadline to enter is noon on that Saturday.)

It's really easy and the pay off is totally worth it. You can keep the bracelet for yourself (which I would probably do. I'm just being honest.) or you can give it to someone as a gift!

Onto the question!

Who is your style icon and why?

Ready? Set? Go! Enter! Win!

Also, don't forget about the Pragmatic Effects contest. The deadline is Friday, Dec. 5!

Aw Gwen Stefani. I love her designs and she's into a little bit of everything fashion-wise (kids clothes, perfume, purses, charms, watches, cameras). Did you know she used to sew many of the costumes she wore on stage with No Doubt?

I'm going to have to go with Nick Valensi from The Strokes. He has the perfect blend between classy and thrift store. He'll wear a designed jacket over top of skinny jeans and twenty year old converse Chuck Taylors. The perfect blend between true vintage, and true class. It just works. It's him, and nobody as hard as they try can ever imitate it.

I like Pat Benatar's style from the 80's she was like rock, chic and crazy at times

I go through phases. I used to be really into the 60's and 70's, Penny Lane(Kate Hudsen) from Almost Famous is pretty much who I wanted to be. Right now I'm really into the 20's and 30's. I want to be a Flapper real bad. So I guess that would make my grandmothers my style icons of the moment. They have all the old jewelry that is exactly the style I'm looking for. They also have lots of old photographs showing off the trends of the time.

If I say Taylor Dungjen, do I win? :)

My style icon would probably be Carrie Bradshaw from "Sex and the City". I love that she always tries new things, even when they're incredibly quirky. Her distinct style and fun fashion fads make her a totally original character, and I hope when I'm a fabulous journalist in NYC, I have as great of a style as she does !
